PICHE, Joseph Russell “Russ”
February 9, 1934 – April 16, 2015

Joseph Russell Piche, beloved husband of 42 years to Donna (nee Jenkinson), of Calgary, AB passed away at the age of 81 years on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Rosedale Hospice after a long courageous battle with pulmonary disease.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Donna; children: Brian (Diane), Denise (Ben) Schonfield, Russell (Leah), Danielle (Dustin) Moffat; precious grandchildren: Brett, Shelby, Aubrey, Jura, Myles, Hayden; special cats Whiskers and Bandit as well as by a large circle of extended family and friends.

Russ was able to rise above his illness to live life to the fullest until the very end. Russ was a proud Veteran of the Korean War, having served from 1951 – 1952 with the #1 Battalion P.P.C.L.I and the #1 Battalion of Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada. He was admired, respected, and loved by many as a leader and role model. He will be fondly missed and remembered as a coach and volunteer in Calgary’s Hockey and Lacrosse communities.

A Celebration of Russ’ Life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations in Russ’ name may be made directly to the Museum of the Regiments (4520 Crowchild Trail SW, Calgary, AB, T2T 5J4) or the Rosedale Hospice – Hospice Calgary Society (1245 – 70 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB, T2H 2X8). HODDER, Clayton Graham
October 18, 1937 – January 8, 2015
Clayton Hodder passed away at the Sarcee Hospice, Calgary, AB on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the age of 77 years.

Survived by beloved wife Louise; children:  Lee (Karen) , Lee, Rochelle , Karrin (Kim) Kelli-Ann.:  Grandchildren: Tanner, Tyler, Tany, Kylie, Kiana, Teagan and Gracelyn; sisters Sandra (David) Emberly; brothers Cyril (Donna) Hodder and Eugene (Jenny) Hodder) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.  Clay was pre-deceaed by his brother Samual 
Served honourably in the QOR of C and PPCLI 1957/1982 Canada, Germany and Cyprus ; and subsequently worked for the Calgary Board of Education.  Was a Legion member ansd  and a member of the Cdn Assoc of United Nations Peacekeeping.  
In lieu of flowers donations may be made directly to the Calgary Poppy fund/Veterans Food bank.
